Aeroman
Aeroman is one of the leading Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) centers in Latin America, providing world-class aircraft maintenance services for major airlines. We partnered with them to modernize their operational data infrastructure without disrupting mission-critical maintenance workflows.
Migrate and integrate decades of critical aircraft maintenance records from IBM AS400 legacy systems into a modern Management Information System — while keeping flight operations running without interruption.
THE solution
A bridge between legacy and modern — built for aviation precision
We architected a bi-directional integration layer between Aeroman’s IBM AS400 systems and their new Management Information System, using IBM Integration Bus and IBM MQ as the enterprise messaging backbone — enabling reliable, asynchronous data synchronization without a risky full-cutover migration.
Custom Java-based middleware and IBM Integration Bus flows were developed to translate AS400 data formats into modern REST API calls. IBM MQ Message Queuing ensured zero message loss during high-traffic periods, while enabling dashboards, reporting tools, and mobile applications to consume live operational data from anywhere.
- Modernisation
Our Mobile Development team built native mobile interfaces that expose real-time maintenance data directly to technicians on the hangar floor — connected securely through the IBM MQ message bus to the AS400 back-end, with no VPN or manual sync required.
- Mobile Access
The result: Aeroman’s teams gained real-time visibility into maintenance schedules, parts inventory, and compliance reporting — accessible from both web dashboards and mobile apps, with IBM AS400 reliability powering every transaction behind the scenes.
