This past Saturday, Echo Technologies had the honor of participating in the PMI El Salvador Congress, held at the Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas (UCA). The event, which took place from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., brought together leading companies, project managers, and technology professionals for a full day of learning, networking, and valuable discussions about the future of project management in the digital era.
The initiative, organized by the Project Management Institute (PMI) El Salvador Chapter, aimed to promote the exchange of best practices, trends, and tools that strengthen leadership and execution capabilities within project teams. Throughout the day, participants attended keynote sessions, expert panels, and interactive discussions focused on innovation, sustainability, and technological adoption.

Representing Echo Technologies, our Project Lead Carlos Godoy took part in an expert panel that explored the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in software development and how this technology is transforming the processes of planning, execution, and delivery of digital solutions.
During his participation, Carlos emphasized that AI should not be viewed as a threat to teams but as a tool that enhances their capabilities. He highlighted the importance of maintaining an ethical and responsible approach to its use while fostering continuous learning to make the most of its potential.
He also shared reflections on the importance of teamwork, effective communication, and adaptability in environments where technology evolves rapidly. “AI can automate processes, but collaboration and empathy remain irreplaceable in project management,” he noted.
